OpenAI recently changed the ChatGPT export format, which can cause errors in the latest official ChatKeeper release. An Adventure Build that eliminates these errors is available now. Additional work is in progress to handle other changes in the format. Stay tuned!

Already have ChatKeeper and just want your "Forever License"?
I could use your feedback on this one…
This is the first release with signed installers for Windows and macOS users. Signed installers help ensure that you’re installing exactly what you think you’re installing. But it’s a complicated process with a lot of platform-specific behavior.
Because ChatKeeper intentionally collects no telemetry, I rely on feedback from users to confirm that the installation experience is smooth across different systems.
So if you try this build, I’d love to hear about:
- any warnings during or after the download
- any warnings during or after installation
- any obstacles to installation
- any installations with no warnings at all
- any issues on first launch
- what platform you are on (Windows, macOS/Apple, macOS/Intel, or Linux)
And if you can include a screenshot of any issues, that’s even better.
If everything works perfectly, just a quick “works fine on Windows 11 / macOS Sonoma on M3 / etc.” message is still very helpful.
